Information we collect

When you submit the contact form: your name, email, optional phone number, travel dates, group size, preferred vehicle, and any message you write.

Automatically as you browse: usage data via Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address — collected through cookies.

At the point of booking, Tokyo Driving Club additionally collects the identity, licence, and payment details described in its full Privacy Policy.

How we use it

To respond to quote requests and arrange bookings, provide customer support, send booking-related communication, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

Service providers acting on our behalf: Google Analytics (site analytics), our email provider (to send and receive your enquiry), and, at the point of booking, payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal. Each processes data under its own terms.

Cookies

We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.

Data retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it.

Your rights

Under the APPI and the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@88roads.com.

International processing

Pickup is in Japan. Some providers may process data outside Japan under appropriate safeguards.
