What we do
eMoment Japan KK, under the 88roads brand, rents self-drive campervans from our base at Minami-Kasai 2-6-16, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo 134-0085. The website lets you browse the fleet and request a quote.
Quotes and bookings
A quote request is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when we accept it in writing and you complete the required deposit. Every rental is subject to the Tokyo Driving Club rental agreement provided at or before pickup.
Driver eligibility
Drivers must hold a valid licence from their home country plus an International Driving Permit (1949 Geneva Convention) or an official Japanese translation, and meet our minimum age and experience requirements.
Pricing
Prices are shown in Japanese yen and may change until a booking is confirmed. What each rental includes (insurance, ETC card, roadside assistance) is described per vehicle.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms are provided at the time of booking, summarised in our FAQ, and governed by the full Tokyo Driving Club Terms.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or submit false information.
Disclaimer
The website is provided "as is". Route information, distances and estimates are guidance, not guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo.
